I just got my acceptance packet today, and was invited to the Eckardt Scholars Program. It sounds really impressive, but I was hoping someone could give me some more information on it from personal experience or if you just happen to know a lot about it! Thanks! Good luck to everyone with their decisions today!

Go to this link to read about the program, it is an honors program for School of LAS.

My son is one of the few engineering students in the program. It is a great honor to be invited as I believe only 25 or so each year are invited. The course runs once freshman year and once junior year with a senior project and replace humanities requirements. They read and discuss great literature, study art, have dinners and museum trips etc. They have a new director who seems very strong. Every time he gets a recommendation letter the author always stresses his involvement in that program.
Congratulations on being admitted to Lehigh and being invited to the Eckardt Scholars program!
