<p>I'm a EECS major thinking about taking one of these. How are they different and which one would be more "suitable"? Thanks.</p>
<p>100A = less math based I think.
101A = heavier on math and I believe math 53/54 is the prereq.</p>
<p>If you like math and are good at it (and have completed Math 53), 101A is likely to be more interesting to you.</p>
<p>I think for EECS majors, 101A counts as an elective. But I’m not sure…</p>

<p>All Economics courses are in the L&S Social and Behavioral Sciences list, which means that (since they are not specifically excluded) they are allowed by the College of Engineering for Humanities and Social Studies.</p>
