I'm thinking about applying to Ross, but I'm already doing poorly in Econ 101. I got a C+ on the first exam. I know it's only going to get harder as far as the material, which means it's going to be very difficult to pull off anything above a B.

Am I pretty much screwed if I don't get an A in Econ? I'm probably going to get one other B this semester because of a GSI's harsh grading...otherwise everything should be fine. I'm also semi-involved on campus... I have a part-time job and I play a club sport that travels.

Yeah, I’m taking it with Malone. Under resources on CTools, there is a folder named “exam results” and a PDF with a list of everyone’s scores. You match up your ID with a score in a special way and then get your score in terms of points.

if you cant do well in econ 101, you have bigger things to worry about than getting into ross. It’s pretty much the easiest class I have taken other than my polisci class

econ 101 and calc 125 are the two classes where they really expect you to do well. its very, very tough to overcome a b, even with perfect grades elsewhere. you better get an a+ in econ 102 next semester, and you should take another econ class too if possible and get an a+ in that.

honestly, if u got a C+ on econ 101, I don’t think ur ross material.
Go apply to some top clubs at UM such as Michigan Interactive Investments. I heard its members have a 100% placement rate into Ross. But i think admission into MII is very selective. This freshman I know whos in there worked at a bulge bracket investment bank when he’s 17.

Sucks for the OP then. Btw, I just heard that this freshman got a boutique IBD offer. If this is true, he basically got offers faster than juniors and seniors? W. T. F. Bearcats, what do u think?
