Econ 101 - Should I take McCallie or Byrns? Help!!

Help please! Has anyone taken Econ 101? I could take it with either McCallie or Byrns.

I looked at Byrns' syllabus and it is confusing and there are tons of online pre-quizzes, post-quizzes, and recitation quizzes. Plus quizzes every friday online during class. It sounds like a lot of online work to keep up with and I have used Aplia before and it can be frustrating! However, people still tell me that Byrns is easy if you do the work and gives out a lot of A's.

Does anyone know anything about Mccallie?

Thank you!!!! It is my first semester and I am trying to figure all this out!!

McCallie doesn’t know how to teach, but the class is a piece of cake and almost no work. He gives out mad extra credit!

I’m on the same boat. Registered for Bryd but I am finding his online work confusing. Is McCallie the easier option??

Anybody know about Boon Turchi for econ 101?

Take Byrns. Don’t take Econ for an easy A, take it because it matters. Byrns is incredible and you won’t regret taking his course, even if it challenges you.

I went to Mccallie’s class today. There is definitely not as much online work to do which is really nice, plus no recitation. he seems pretty nice too. He gives bonus on the online work… a 90 is considered a 100 and anything over the 90 is extra credit. I really dont know whether to stay or go to byrns.

I have heard really mixed reviews on byrns… his syllabus was a mess and hard to follow

i have turchi too

I went to McCallie. He is really nice!

I have Byrns’ class this morning…the syllabus WAS confusing, but I heard he was the best out of the Econ 101 instructors? I guess we’ll see how it goes.
