Econ 101

How hard is Econ 101? I've read all the past threads and I still can't get a good idea of how hard this class is.

I'm taking this as a High School student btw. I've taken a lot of AP classes so I'm used to a lot of work.

Is this just the put-in-the-hours-get-an-A type of class (memorization, etc) or is it really a difficult class (humanities/essays/critical thinking)?

How harsh is the curve?

25% A, 33% B I think I read.

It isn't a hard class in terms of the material taguth, however, the competition is stiff because of the number of highly driven pre-business students and very serious Econ majors taking the class.

If you're good enough to dual enroll, you should do fine in the class. If you're smart enough and can pick up on things quickly, you can learn everything you need to know by going over homework solutions before discussion and then paying attention during discussion. At least for me, my GSI basically cut all the crap from lecture and taught us what we needed to know and how to do it.
