Econ 101a/Stat 134 difficulty

This may be an odd, subjective question but here goes. Stat 134 is thus far the most difficult course I've taken. This semester I've enrolled in Econ 101a, and I'm curious to hear the opinion in terms of relative difficulty from anyone who has taken both these courses. Also, although it was not listed as a prereq, the Econ 101a course requires linear algebra. I'm curious about how extensively it's used.

the only linear algebra you need is knowing how to compute a determinant so that you can check 2nd order conditions with the hessian matrix. I found 134 to be harder Econ 101A especially because 101A has a very generous curve.

edit: i’m a 4th year applied math/econ major so if you have more questions about classes feel free to ask.
