I'm looking at the synopsis of Econ 183 - Managerial Accounting and it states the prereqs are Econ 182 or Econ 83. I tried searching for Econ 83 in the course listings in both fall and spring semesters but failed to find it.

Anyone know what is Econ 83 and why its not listed anywhere

its probably transfer credit

I thought the AP credit for econ was like Econ 1a and 1b or something…and transfer credits would show up as Econ 888 or Econ 999. I think it might be a class that used to be Econ 83 and then got renumbered. I know a LOT of the engineering classes have that problem (for example ECE 64 got renumbered to ECE 54 but a lot of handbooks still call it 64).

that would make sense noodles, as I believe econ 183 doesn’t count towards major and minor requirements. They probably used to have it labeled as 83 so people would know that they could not count it as a 100-level elective.
