i constantly heard econ is a HUGE dept at princeton (as it is at any other college) and that its students don't get much personal attention. Is this true for upperclass courses as well?
im just looking into different majors.

o and are the upperclass econ courses/certificate in finance math-heavy? What types of math are they (stats/calc/etc)?

anyone please?

Did they send this to you? http://www.princeton.edu/pr/pub/mc/
I do hear students being happier in smaller departments, but I also hear of students in economics having profs help them get summer internships, etc. It seems to depend what kind of person you are and how you like to learn.
