Econ/Biz Econ Majors

Who else here is in under one of these majors? I want to scope out my competition. Any attractive ladies in this crowd?

haha i got into business econ~~~

wait one-two years. when a lot of the bio majors fail, they’ll join you.

Yesss, I got in as a Bus Econ Major : ))))

I’ll prob be a business econ by next year, if I don’t make it back into Biz admin

i got in for economics :)

I got in as an Econ major. I’m going to do Econ/Philosophy double, though. Where are you guys from?

econ is considered one of the harder majors you realize…

you realize that econ is still considered one of the harder majors, right?

and I’m in Costa Mesa, about 5 miles from UCI.

I’m in for environmental sciences (denied for business admin) right now but I am changing to business econ.

I got in for econ as well  Im from pakistan dont think will be attending tough.

yeah, business is tough to get into, there’s only a 3% acceptance rate, so don’t beat yourself up over it. It’s a new school and incredibly impacted, I heard that they only accepted around a dozen transfer students last year.

Yeah, business admin was my first choice, but then I got business econ

And I’m from Sacramento, CA, anyone else here for norcal?

Nope… Socal

socal here. Don’t feel bad about biz-econ, the business school is BRAND NEW and VERY VERY impacted. It’s harder to get into UCI’s biz school than Berkeley’s. And Berk’s only accepts 7%.

norcal! san francisco

accepted to business econ! though i have no idea why… I guess I meant to apply to business administration LOL. I must say, i’d consider myself quite foxy, hahaha

biz admin is almost impossible to get into at UCI, so that’s why.

Down to 3 schools. I want to study business and go right into business after college. My choices are: UC Irvine Business economics, UC Riverside Business administration honors, Pepperdine Business administration.

Which program will give my the best preparation to get a good job in the business world after graduation? Thanks!!

UCR or pepperdine

If cost isn’t a huge factor, I like Pepperdine in this case.
