For all of you major in econ department, what do you think is the most difficult econ class or weeding class? I just want to know to see how I will do in future econ classes after done with econ 101 and 103. Thanks.

Well, once you get through econ 101 and 103, everything else afterward is cake

Do you think I will fare well in other econ classes if I got B on econ 101 and 103? (mess up the final…)

Econ 101 is as difficult as UCLA undergrad gets.

Most other courses are just specialization. I don’t feel Econ 103 is as representative of upper division Econ classes because it deals with stats and, more specifically, with looking at STATA outputs. In most other courses, you’ll have to be calculating things for yourself.

Basically, the prerequisite Econ classes are most representative of the difficulty of Econ classes in general. Those are Econ 11, 101, and 102.
