Econ/CS or econ/applied math?

Which combination makes more sense and is better for landing prestigious jobs? I’ve heard econ/math is a good combo, but that it is really hard. I’ve also heard econ/cs is a good combo too but that classes have no overlaps and there isnt a point in that combination. Any help would be appreciated!
(If it helps, my first choice is Brown University)

What kind of jobs?

Also depends on what you want to study – more math or CS? How about econ/stats? Econ with minor in technical writing? Lots of possibilities are out there.
