So, basically I know nothing about econ and have both the macro and micro tests tomorrow. I didn’t take the class, as I was going to self-study. Hah, didn’t exactly pan out. I was so worried about my other tests that I ignored econ 110%. I’ve read three chapters of 5 Steps to a 5. That’s it. Three chapters.

So what should I do? I want to get a 5 on macro, but I don’t really care about micro. I know my chances of getting a 5 are super low, since I know nothing, but I think that if I stay up all night studying and am highly motivated I might be able to pull it off (hopingggg).

So long story short: what should I study? Should I just explore Reffonomics.com all night? Or should I try and read through all of 5 Steps? Please help me!

Thanks in advance!

And yes, I know I’m screwed. No need to point that out.

i’m laughing at you so hard right now i just can’t believe you

Yeah, well, life’s a ***** :P

Btw, gg= Gaga? Gucci? Good God?

Bahhh, someone help me! I am undoubtedly the stupidest person on this forum…
“Oh, ZuVieleFragen, econ is a breeze”
“Oh, ZuVieleFragen you’ll be fine!”
“Oh, ZuVieleFragen, no worries!”

BahHUMBUG! I’m so screwed. So, so, so very screwed!

dude dw I’m in the same boat as you.

I looked at micro a few times over and know half of macro, so maybe not as bad as you. But I haven’t looked at the material (since today) in over 3 weeks, because of other exams.

Dw we still have >8 hours until the test starts. I’m pretty sure we can read princeton 4 times or 525 twice lol.

let’s motivate eachother to stay up? ay?

Well I’m certainly glad I’m not the only one in this sinking boat… haha. Do you really think PR is feasible in 8 hours (or 525 for that matter)? I have both, but I’m definitely thinking it will take me more than 8 hours just to get through 525…

This sucks! Last year I learned all of World History in one night from reading chapter outlines and BSed my way to a 5. Econ actually requires you to think!

Yes, mutual motivation is good! Excellent thinking, ElMastermind!

yeh I have like 20minutes of 525 left for micro, and I may just go through princetons twice macro and then reffonomics for support (which is pretty awesome btw).

I thought I knew most of the micro stuff, but reffonomics really enforced it.

If you really didn’t study at all maybe you should just look at reffonomics? I tried to go ahead without reading, but it was a little odd.

Okay, with the help of my handy dandy calculator, which curse the CB I don’t get to use tomorrow, I will need to read either one page of PR ever 4 minutes in order to finish by the morning, or one page of 525 every 3.3 minutes.

So, I can conclusively say that I must pick between the two. If I go PR, and go through it as fast as possible, I can probably review some concepts on Reffonomics, but I fear my retention level will be deplorable. Perhaps I will continue with 525 and only read it through once.

What do you think, ElMastermind?

Why not take practise tests? I was going to read and take notes from my textbook but that just took too much time. This was for AP Chem though. So I abandoned that and just took FRQs from CB. I learnt stuff from doing that.

But this is econ…so it may be different :P

read PR all through the night without any breaks

hmm i have no idea. Try to speed read? Frankly, I’m still procrastonating by being here hahaha.

Well when I looked at princeton it didn’t really compare to 525, so maybe just go for 525 in one shot.

@orangefroot: Well I started to take a practice exam, and failed miserably, so I decided it was worthless until I got a foundation.

And ElMastermind, I think I’m just going to screw both prep books and just go through the Reffonomics site as fast as possible. Hopefully it will be as good of a review… And you’re so right, I’ve been procrastinating here all night…

@Theeboy3: do you speak from experience?

no, but that’s what I would do

PR will teach you everything you need to know and you’ll just have to apply it tomorrow

Warning to all: never start watching Audrey Hepburn movies before studying… you will not stop! I’ve seen Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Two for the Road, and Paris When it Sizzles within the last 5 hours… ■■■

@Theeboy3: okay, I’ll try that with either 525 or PR I guess.

5 steps to a 5 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> PR

hey guys i feel your pain. . .
this past sunday i basically i learned bio in one day. i am technically enrolled in the class, but i goofed around the entire year

my teacher gave us two electronic versions of these really really helpful study guides. Macro is like 100 pgs and micro is like 80 pgs.

PM me if you want them, just to let you know I will be sleeping in the next 45 mins so PM me quick!

good luck with all your ap exams guys!

thanks brown I really appreciate it!

I think I’m just gonna KO 525, cement with ref, and then look at some 2-3 page study sheets online.

But thanks again
