<p>After hearing that economics is the degree next best to engineering, I began to wonder: what jobs do Econ majors get? Are there jobs that specifically use skills gained in Econ, or do most people with Econ degrees wind up working in finance? What makes Econ better than any other social science?</p>

<p>Twice a year this conference is held. It’s more for practical application as an Economist in the private sector. The National Association for Business Economics holds it.</p>
