Hey so i'm new to the site and I was wondering what a good California State University was for Economics. I have a 3.1 GPA and I would like to stay somewhere in California for College but if there are any schools on the west coast that are better for economics I would consider leaving the state.

Also I was wondering if anyone could tell me the likelyhood of getting into Chico, UC Davis, SF State, and Sonoma State with a 3.1 GPA and Majoring in Economics.

Thanks for your time!!

Is that your “UC GPA” ??? If you don’t know, then calculate it…

[CaliforniaColleges.edu - Calculating Your GPA](http://www.californiacolleges.edu/admissions/california-state-university-csu/gpa_calculator.asp)

A 3.1 GPA is low for most UCs.

What is your SAT?

but if there are any schools on the west coast that are better for economics I would consider leaving the state.

How much will your parents pay?

Sorry the information I forgot to include is that I am a transfer Student and yes thats my UC GPA

So, 3.1 is your GPA from a community college? How many credits do you have (or will have when you transfer)?

How much will your parents pay?

Is there a UC or Cal State that you can commute to if money is an issue?
