<p>Hey guys, I am aware that at cal, you can change majors as long as it's in the same school. Does this apply to impacted and capped majors such as econ? Do we just have to get a certain gpa once we go to cal and then apply for econ or do they just not accept applicants? thnx guys</p>
<p>u can switch, but the process is MUCHH harder, its pretty much just like applying again, but this time for that major.</p>
<p>how long is the process? i have to apply during the first semester and wait until April again? damn…</p>

<p>u can TRY to switch in, but the likelihood of it happening, is veryyyyy slim. at UCLA u cant do it at all, its not even allowed</p>
