<p>Depends what you are doing with it. Also if you want to learn more math it can't hurt.</p>
<p>A math minor will greatly help if you ever go to grad school for econ or finance.</p>
<p>Also, some business firms (especially i-banks and consulting firms) look highly upon math majors/minors, since they want a job candidate to have demonstrated "comfort with numbers" and quantitative aptitude.</p>
<p>It's not useless in an intrinsic sense. Your quantitative thinking will likely be greatly improved (compared to just taking the required amount of math through a core). It's not like you can't change or drop your minor if you really don't like it.</p>
