Anyone familiar with what the cut off gpa is for econ major?

I know the econ website states average accepted into major is 3.4, but how much lower than that can you go and still be safe? Would a 3.1 be guranteed or is that pushing it?

I believe that a 3.2 is the cutoff since this is a capped major.

A 3.1 should be right at the cutoff. One of my friends had a 3.06 (or something like that) in his prerequisites and was still admitted into the major.

if u have a 3.0 or above, than your are in

So is it ok if I got a B- (2.7) in one of my prereq classes, but made up for it with my other prereqs?

Assuming I apply in the second semester of my sophomore year, are the grades for the prereqs of that semester taken into account?

its simple as, 3.0 or above in the pre-reqs are ur admitted, it doesnt matter when you apply, infact most ppl i know applied senior year
