Econ Major to pair with what minor?

Hello all,

I attend the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and am majoring in Economics, in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. I am already going to minor in Spanish, but have a good amount of flexibility and I thought I should minor in something else. There are really only ~12 classes required to get an Econ degree and that's why I have a lot of room in my schedule.
I have thought of 2 options, a minor in Business or a minor in Statistics. Which do you think would give me a competitive edge? I'm not sure what I want to do job-wise, but I'm thinking of getting my Master's in Finance or Accounting.

Thanks for the input!

I guess would be that the stats minor opens up more career options than a general business minor.

Math or stats.
