Hi Everyone!!
I am a freshman at USF and would like to transfer to Berkeley as an Econ Major. My current majors are Econ and Business with a minor in Japanese. I have a 4.0 right now and will be done with all the prerequisites for the Econ major by the time I apply to Berkeley. I know Berkeley really likes well-rounded students so I have been keeping myself busy with activities such as Church choir, Judo, Job at Japantown, Rotaract ( secretary), and Omicron Delta Epsilon( International Econ Honor society). If anyone has some tips or suggestions on how I could be a stronger applicant, it would be very appreciated
Just to keep in mind: Berkeley had 1368 applicants last year and 380 was accepted(28%). The year before was 23% so I am anticipating an upward trend. Average Gpa for acceptance: 25 percentile was 3.78 and 75 percentile was 4.00.
