econ major transfer

Hi! I am currently a freshmen in USC, and thinking about transfering to Econ major in Cornell, Dartmouth or UPenn......the problem is, I haven't taken Macroeconomics yet, and I was planning on doing that during the summer because the professor totally sucks! However, I just realized that D might not allow transfering unless i have completed all the required class......so......is there still hope for me to transfer without having taken Macro in Freshmen level? also, is it impossible to get into this major after freshmen year??

Just to add my stats, I am a current USC freshmen in Marshall school of business......my stats isn't that good, I have good extracurricular stuff, and my 1st semester is 4.0 gpa, but my SAT is only 2150.....do u guys think there is hope for transfering?? (even though it's less than a month left)

Thank you so much for your help guys!!!

Just so you don't think everyone is ignoring you . . .

I have no idea.

Why do you want to leave Marshall?

I wanna go into IB, and work at Wall Street after graduation.....it is really hard to do that coming out of USC....

Is that a fact? Have you checked out the USC forum about this? Marshall is an excellent school, and I mean USC's alumni base is very strong. Is there something more?

Having taken or not taken macro, or any other econ class will have no bearing on your admission. And yes, you would certainly be able to complete the econ major.
