<p>What are the chances of getting into the finance world as an econ major coming from SD? What kind of recruiting opportunities are there on campus? I'm very much interested in IBanking, PE and Hedge Funds.</p>
<p>To be honest, it’s hard to break into any of those three fields outside of the Top 25 universities and Top 10 SLACs. It’s possible, but you won’t be seeing any OCI presence for those industries at UCSD.</p>
