I'm a high school student interested in persuing a degree in Econ at UCB and I was wondering if any econ major could give me some info on how it's like. Thanks!

The Econ Major at berkeley is pretty chill, as long as you stay on top of the REQUIRED ECON CLASSES that you have to take, the rest, you can choose from a list, but try to take Econ classes that have good professor ratings and you will be fine. As for the workload, its mostly problem sets, going to section definitely helps if you have a good GSI. Try to ask lots of questions in sections and if that doesnt work, talk to the Professor and try to get on their good side. I dont wanna hate on anyone, but most of the Professors are really busy and they dont want to spend their whole day talking to students, so try to get some study groups together, study and you'll most definitely pass, but dont get behind!
