Econ or Business?

I know both are top rated programs. Job prospect wise, how different are they?

From the Berkeley Career Center [survey](https://career.berkeley.edu/Major/Major.stm):

[Economics

Business”>https://career.berkeley.edu/Major/BusAd.stm]Business Administration](https://career.berkeley.edu/Major/Econ.stm)

But weren’t you asking about double majoring with [Computer Science](https://career.berkeley.edu/Major/CompSci.stm)? If so, it will likely be easier to schedule with Economics than Business Administration.

Yea that’s why I was asking about the differences. Doubling with business requires a heavy courseload and I want to have a social life

Note that if you like math, the economics department offers more math-intensive courses (e.g. 101A, 101B, C103, 104, 138, 141, graduate courses). Choosing those courses is recommended if you are interested in graduate school, and may help if you want to go into finance.
