Econ profs willing to do Econ 197?

So, the internship I am taking on requires academic credit, which means I have to enroll in Econ 197, which means I have to get a supervising professor. Has anyone taken this 'class' before and which professor agreed to be your supervisor?

Asking because there's apparently an issue of getting professors to agree to this...something about going against their moral code. Idek.

I’m curious about this too, what does the professor have to do for you if they agree to this?

Apparently, nothing much. The website never stated any explicit requirements for the professor except that you have to submit a 10-page paper at the end of the course, which I assume they would have to grade.

Does the internship have to be econ-related? I can’t imagine what I could write 10 pages about.
