Econ UCSD/UCSB/UCI/USC

I am having a dilema between a Economics major @ UCSD, Business Econ w/ emphasis in Accounting @ UCSB, or Econ/ Accounting minor @ UCI, any1 have any thoughts about which one would be the best to get a good job in the investment/finance field? UCSB offers the best major in my opinion but is not in the best location for internships/jobs in comparison to SD and Orange County. UCSD has the best reputation but I feel the traditional Econ major lacks practicality..

Also, is any1 familiar with USC's Economics program? I know their Business graduates are highly valued but not sure if their Econ graduates are recruited or not? How does it compare with the UC's above and would it be worth paying the high tuition for?

Any advise would be appreciated! thank you!

Internships are offered mostly for the summer. Students from North Cal tend to pick internship in SF while So Cal students pick LA. If you have plans to get a part time job while in school then there's limited opportunities in SB. There are compnies recruiting on-campus for summer internship and you'll be asked which location you're interested to work at.
