What are the differences between the economics and the Operations Research + Financial Engineering Major at Princeton University? Look the same to me

I don't know much but ORFE is more math-oriented and apparently more intense. shrug

ORFE is a lot more of finance+econ+applied math+computers+physics depending on what electives you choose. Econ is econ.

which is easier to get a job?

ORFE is your better bet for IBanking and finance.

ORFE is also a BSE major - so the requirements are different from Econ, which is BA.

No language requirement for BSE, but 36 courses instead of 32 courses, and lots of basic engineering requirements.
