<p>How is the economics dept. at MHC? Do many graduates go on to top grad programs for econs? Also, I've heard that liberal arts college graduates are at a disadvantage in grad school applications as there are not as many research opportunities and because of recommendations from professors who may not be as well known in the field as compared to research universities. Is this true?</p>
