I am interested in majoring in economics, but would also like to study philosophy. Does anyone have any suggestions in choosing between Brown, Cornell, and Georgetown? Any general comments?

For philosophy, the Philosophical Gourmet report ranks Cornell and Brown very high, way above Georgetown, for what that's worth:

The schools are quite different in location and "theme". I'd pick the one you think best suits you. You can study those subjects well at any of them.
