<p>What kind of majors are offered in this range of fields? I know only Upenn has undergrad business, but are there are kind of business classes i could take at cornell? And is it true that Economics is more of a joke major for people who want an easy major/undecided on a major?</p>
<p>Cornell has a broad spectrum of business-related majors. The most archetypal business major is Applied Economics and Management (AEM) in the Ag School. There is also Policy Analysis & Management (PAM) in Human Ecology, Industrial & Labor Relations (ILR) if you’re more interested in the people-side of business, the Financial Engineering concentration out of Operations Research at the Engineering school for more of a quant/systems optimization approach to business, and of course the Hotel School. </p>
<p>In my opinion, if you want an easy major, then there are better choices than economics.</p>
