economics & classics double major

im planning on going into investment banking after my four years of undergrad (hence the economics part^). however, im also very interested in the classics and the classics major offered at williams (along with all the other study-abroad opps). my question is, am i over-doing it with a econ/classics double major? is it too much work? if i wanted to study abroad in, for example, greece, would i be able to complete/work on my econ major still? and finally, would i have time to do summer internships at i banking firms with a double major? i know these are a lot of questions, so whoever answers them, a big thank you to you.

This is a nice combo and shouldn’t be a problem. Just be sure to get started on the class sequence for each major in your first year. Check out the course catalog on the website for all the details. With planning ahead you can study abroad. Econ is a huge major with many course offerings. Classics is smaller. Of course, you can single major in one and take courses in the other without committing to majoring. There’s a lot to be said for enjoying the dabbling in a variety of subjects as a single major at Williams.
