Economics for Business

I just wanted to ask some people here for good feedbacks.

I am applying to undergrad schools this year, and I have planned to major in Economics. I have chosen economics because based on what I heard, it can open up many opportunities later when seeking a job(not neccessarily business) and that it is something worth learning. Also, I took into consideration that I might want to earn an MBA in grad school, so I thought I might as well take Economics.
THE PROBLEM is that I am not really sure if I will really enjoy it/be able to excel in Economics. i heard Econ itself is very tough. The thing is, I also do not really know what I should take instead because I haven't quite found what I am really good at/enjoy. Please give me some suggestions. Thank yoU!

Study what you enjoy, Don't study economics because you think it will get you a good job, if you don't enjoy your studied you won't do as well, defeating the entire purpose. Have you looked into business management? It offers very good employment opportunities, with very high salaries.

what schools did you/are you applying to?

If it doesn't really interest you, I'd advise against it. There are a ton of ways to get into a top business school besides pursuing an economics major in undergrad.
