My D got accepted to Economics for Leaders at College of Wooster this summer. Anyone been to this program?? What did you think?? Anyone know anything about it?

does it have to do with Junior Achievement?
I've been to one after my sophomore year in high school and it basically introductory economics with fun games and all that.
but this might be something totally different

My son and I researched Economics for Leaders late last year and from what we were able to conform it is a very solid and well respected program. They invite students who have demonstrated leadership ability (often referred by a previous selective leadership program - like HOBY) to apply for one week of Intensive Economics Instruction at one of 10 wonderful colleges. They charge a small site fee but essentially all expenses are covered by the Foundation for Teaching Economics. As I recall only about 400 students nationwide are selected for the Economics for Leaders program each summer. Some students preferred Tufts, or UC Berkeley, but I think the College of Wooster sounds ideal. MY Son requested the College of Wooster location and will be traveling from NC to attend the June 15-22nd session.

when did your son/daughter receive his/her acceptance letter?

About April 11th - they went out later than expected
