Economics for leaders

Can someone who has been to Economics for Leaders give us some more information about it? My son was accepted to the UT one this summer.

Where did everyone get accepted into? I got into the one at Chicago, my last choice.

I just got accepted into the UT one too and it was my only choice

into UCLA, first choice!

How prestigious is this program? I know it’s not in the top tiers but…, just wondering…

UWash, first choice

I got accepted into the UWash one too! Also, my first choice. I have family out there, but am sort of wishing I applied to the UCLA one now…

first one rejected here (I wrote the application on the last day >.<). The program seems kinda weird to me since it requires only an application and an essay.
Anyway, can someone who got accepted post his/her essay so i can learn from my mistakes and improve my future application.
Thank you so much!!!

i went last year…and prestigious wise…they said that for every one there, 2-3 were rejected or smt. like that…
windowbob, basically in the morning we went to econ classes, learned about econ with hands-ons stuff…stuff like that…
and then in the afternoon we had leadership activities…it was really fun…the best experience of my life!
if you have any more questions, i’ll be glad to answer…i went to the w&m one last year!

yeah I didn’t get it either :frowning:
Oh well more time to volunteer I guess

Congrats to everyone that got in =D

I wish their app was a little more in depth though, GPA + Short Online Essay + HOBY contact (if that mattered at all?) seems like a rouge gauge of someone

lol I’m probably just bitter :)

so less than 100 people applied per university site?

it’s about 30 applicants per site.

in @ chicago

I got rejected as well…but I got into LEAD. Whatevs. I honestly applied at the last minute and it was kind of a backup to LEAD so I’m not too disappointed. I have to agree that the application was a bit vague though. Congrats to those who were accepted!

Accepted. From NJ. Anyone else?

Congratulations to those who got in. Not 30 applicants per site, 30 acceptances per site. My S did College of Wooster last year, had a great time, and will be at the Colorado reunion this summer.

In at Chicago!!! I’m excited…who else is flying in?

I just got into the one at Delaware. Anyone else???

I also applied to LBW …

Hey everyone! I got into the one at Babson! Anyone else going to Boston???

oo that was the one i wanted!
