Economics in Bowdoin

Could anyone tell me how the economics program is at Bowdoin? Do many go on to grad schools and if so where? Also any info about recruiters? Thanks

It is one of the largest departments at the school.

Many go on to top grad schools. Lots of people go to Wall St.

The have a small section on their site about preparing for grad school:

Recruitment comes from many top firms. I was planning on grad school but the CPC (Bowdoin Career Center) and pretty forward recruiting from a firm made me go there instead. I know 2 other bowdoin grads from my year at the firm where I work.

thank you!

congratulations, Oliver..I remember you helping prospective students when my first son visited Bowdoin in 05...and always appreciate seeing you here. Glad to see you landed in a super first job! (Bowdoin students are especially approachable, chill, and still ambitious was our impression)
