Are there a lot of recruiters in campus for interviews? Also, does it seem like the school tries to help you get a job after graduation, or are you by yourself? I’m looking at going into Investment Banking after college, or something similar, does anyone know if IB companies or those which are in the economics field come to campus?

BB Banks, like JPMorgan, Goldman, etc… Usually go to rope tier universities to recruit. They give a round of interviews and if you pass, you go to a 3 day interview (i think). They recruit from schools such as Wharton, NYC, Harvard, pretty much top tier business schools. But if you are undergraduate you can get internships starting at sophomore year. They also go to top tier schools to recruit interns over the summer.

But Do you know of companies come and tend to look for graduates? Do many companies come to campus in general? Thats my big question about going to a liberal arts school, are there a lot of jobs available for graduates who do pretty well?

at top liberal arts colleges your chances of getting into a “bulge-bracket” are MUCH bigger than if you go to a university.

you have an amazing network of alumni that save slots for kids from their school. any top LAC (within 7-8) will give you amazing opportunities. especially “old-school” institutions like williams, bowdoin, and amherst
