Economics Major Outlook

Hey guys, I am currently a junior majoring in economics at Michigan State. My GPA isn't too hot (2.9) which I hear is average for econ majors, but my extra curriculars aren't too bad (I play rugby for the school and am involved in greek life through my fraternity). I am wondering what the job market looks like for someone like me, since I have heard it is difficult to find a job in economics if you don't have a graduate degree or a degree from a top tier school. I also have a business cognate (sort of like a minor in general business management). Basically any info anyone can provide on the outlook of this would be helpful, also I am not specifically looking at economics careers. I would go for pretty much any semi-related field since the market isn't too hot.
