Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew about majoring in econ at LAC's. My first is Dartmouth, and I know many econ majors from there go to Wall St., but if I don't (and I probably won't) get into Dartmouth, then I was also looking at LAC's: specifically Haverford, Colgate, and Claremont-McKenna (Haverford is my top choice out of those three).
I'm just curious if econ majors at the aforementioned LAC's can muster jobs in finance/i-banking after undergrad without having to get an MBA right away.

Yes, any major from such highly regarded LACs will open doors to Wall Street. But you have to make the extra effort.

What about Trinity coll. or babson?
