I’m considering an economics major and was wondering how people tend to fare with it out of Berkeley. How easy is it to get a job and what kind of salary did you get (if you’re comfortable sharing)?

I’m a Applied math/econ major. I did an internship in IB this summer and hated it, but I currently have more offers than I know what to do with. Salaries range from 60K (Big 4 Transfer pricing) to 70K (Major Tech Company) to 90K (IB return offer). My econ/math friends are also going into Econ consulting and quantitative finance. No one seems to have a particularly hard time getting a job, and the problem is more about choosing where to start a career.
I’m an econ major from UT. Just made my first C on an econ test. Kind of disappointed.
