Economics or Business Administration with International Studies as a Double Major.

Currently a second semester freshman and I am declaring my major in the upcoming week. I have decided that I want to to a double major. I know that I want one of the majors to be International Studies with a middle eastern concentration. However, I am undecided whether to take Business Admin or Economics for the additional major. The schedule changes significantly depending on the major I choose so I would like to commit to one now. Quite frankly, I still am relatively clueless as to what I want to do. I know I want an international focus in my job and am currently learning arabic, but I am overall unsure of what careers I could enter into with these major combos.
Anyways… If anyone has any advice to aid my decision of a major that would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks!

Have you taken entry level bus, econ, and accounting courses yet?

Yep. took bus last semester. In econ and acc at the moment.

How do you feel about those 3?

Found the accounting course to be very boring. I’d say i found the Econ course the most interesting of the 3.

At your school is the economics major a BS or a BA? BS will be more math-heavy and BA will be more theoretical. It might be worth looking into the curriculums. Business admin will have you taking a variety of classes in HR, marketing, accounting, finance, etc.
