Economics-Political Science Joint Major

The econ/polisci major strikes me as partly interesting, and something that would be aptly suited for my intellectual interests (or at least I think haha). However, a quick browse on wikicu.org has me a little worried. Due to the popularity of the major, the person who wrote the article asserted that you'll really only get personal attention with your professor as a SENIOR--- if you're lucky.

Now given this and the fact that Law School is something that I'm highly considering, is it ill-advised to major in something where the professor will never really get to know you? And beyond just EconPoli-sci, how common/how do students to get to know their professors very well? Are research opportunities in economics readily availabe to those who seek it? Thanks!

That's one person's opinion in WikiCU.

If you really want to talk to your professor you can see them after class/during office hours.

There are also seminars that you can take (including during your sophomore and junior years).
