That's easy, at least twice whatever you already have.

^ That was my answer! BTW, when you say "have", do you mean income, income after taxes, net assets, or what? I'd be THRILLED with my income if I got to keep it!

Shrinkwrap I'm feeling old so I only think net worth. Yet I think you can look at it on any of those fronts and still feel you need double!

A jaded look from Wall Street today: Most all the MD's saw their net worths drop by half in recent months, many much more. It does not matter that some still have more money that most could imagine, they feel poor!

In california(los angeles), at the very least, I would want to make $3000/day

In new york(manhattan), at the very least, gazillions/day

Have, as in earn? Or actually have? My answer would differ by a factor of 10+ depending on my answer to that question.

1.5 million dollars cash spread across 25 banks around the world + 500k in physical gold and platinum bullion spread across 5 vaults in 5 countries, and I would feel rich.

I think there's a difference in feeling "rich" and feeling satisfied/content. I do not necessarilly work towards feeling rich, but I want to feel satisfied.

i think a better question is how much money do you need to have "f-you money"? That is, how much money do you need so that you can do whatever you want no matter what and just say "f-you"? I was watching an old episode of wall street warriors and this question popped up. the guy described it as having enough money to trash your boss' office and not care, and do whatever you want.

their answers were between 5 mil to 200 mil

This sounds a lot like Michael Douglass's "Greed, for lack of a better word, is good" quote which has recently resuscitated back to fruition.

Look at the situation we're in now. Greed is NOT good-Treasure what you have.

twice as much as warren buffet

A Billi or just more than everyone else
