economics vs. Accounting

HI, I am a transfer student and I have already applied for college admission.

Right now, I got offer from Minnesota, twin cities(CLA-Economics) and Colorado boulder(Accounting).

I am so confused...Which one should I go to?

Please give me some advice. Thanks

Econ is more valuable for a government/academia role, acctg more for private sector. Can use both for either of course, consider what type of work you’d enjoy more. Tax/auditing/corporate accounting or data analysis in a more math-heavy economist role.
