Economics with Mathematical emphasis

b_hand, forget all the other schools mentioned above. Below is a clip I got from the University of Chicago's so-called "quantitative" Econ department. Clearly, Chicago was way ahead of its time back in the 1930s or 1940s. They were up to some pretty ground-breaking, earth-shattering stuff back then. But that's ancient history, and word out on the street is, they haven't evolved much since. Those guys are resting on their laurels, so to speak.

Now at the University of Michigan (the one in Ann Arbor), they do Economics right. I am talking evolved Econometrics applications to modern music.

The choice is obvious, go to Michigan!

lol, you love Michigan like no other. Must have had a great time their.

Thanks you guys! Well, I have to say, Northwestern's MMSS certainly looks good, espeically considering I would be able to take advantage of their great music program (I intend to double major in vocal performance and economics, yes I will be very busy!) I will be applying to the UC schools as well, definately UCLA, UCSD, UCSB, maybe Berkeley? The quantitative track looks interesting.
