Economics worth it at Non-Ivy School?

I am currently a junior at Syracuse University and thinking about switching to economics. I have plans of going to grad school and possibly also getting an MBA. However, If I don't get into grad school what are the employment prospects for a person with a bachelors degree in economics

Bump…

I have gotten mixed messages on here. My major is Economics. Some say you can apply for business related jobs while some say it has no more value than a History major. I would like an answer as well

It is what you make of it.

Going to a non-ivy would mean you have to work harder for the same opportunities.

Would an Ivy grad-school or MBA program improve my chances?

Saying is a XXX degree at a non ivory worth it is like saying is going to college worth it if your going to a non ivy. Of course its worth it.
Would a ivy grad school or MBA program improve your chances. Of course it would.

@last

Improve your chances at what?

You have to decide what you are interested in doing after college, and position yourself in such a way that you have maximum opportunity.
