Is Carnegie Mellon a good choice for me if I want to major in economics (more focus on the quantitative part)?

I would contact the Quantitative Scholars program and talk with them. My son is a freshman in the QSSS and will be combining Economics with Statistics and Computer Science, as well as a language minor.
As the name suggest, very strong on the quantitative side.
BTW. He loves the school.
