Economics...

I am thinking about majoring in Econ and was wondering what type of jobs someone with an econ degree would have (besides the obvious Wall Street Jobs). I'm not sure I would want to do something like I- banking and I don't see myself doing theoretical research. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

Fellow Econ majors from my department joined consulting firms, Investment Banks, Brokerage Firms, Commercial Banks and development programs at large companies like Ford, GM, GE etc...

does an econ degree open up an international opportunities?

What kind of wall street jobs could you do with an econ major? What kind of jobs do most econ majors do beside I-banking if they went to a tier 4 school?

brpstn, any degree can open up international opportunities provided you speak the requisite languages and take the initative.

xSsJ4s0ng0kUx100x, tier 4 university students will have a hard time finding jobs with IBs.
