ECs and Common App

<p>i was just looking through the common app and I realize you don't need to indicate what year you recieved a medal or award do you? Theres just the blurb on the side where you indicate your awards, positions held, etc. Do you need to mention the year then?</p>

<p>If not, is an award won in your freshman year pretty much the same as one in your junior year, etc.?</p>
