ECs and Common App

<p>i was just looking through the common app and I realize you don't need to indicate what year you recieved a medal or award do you? Theres just the blurb on the side where you indicate your awards, positions held, etc. Do you need to mention the year then?</p>

<p>If not, is an award won in your freshman year pretty much the same as one in your junior year, etc.? </p>

<p>Also what is the Post Graduate bubble supposed to mean for ECs? arent we applying for post graduate?</p>

<p>You don’t need to mention the year unless it’s part of the award’s name. So yeah, I guess a freshman award is basically the same as a junior award, unless you use the extra page to clarify it.</p>

<p>If you took a gap year or are applying during the summer (for some reason) you might use the post graduate thing.</p>
