EC'S and their importance

I am applying to Exeter and I would like to know the importance of EC's. I have completed the interview and it went well. I am practicing for the SSAT and getting a tutor soon (Jan. 8th Test). My essays and reccomendations will also be exeptional (I hope :) ). I also have a hook-(I speak Hebrew). That leaves me with one thing-The EC's. Can You tell me if mine are O.K? Here it is-

Basketball-3 Years-7 Hours Per Week (JV Champions)
Guitar-3 Years- 4 Hours Per Week
Swimming-2 Years-2 Hours Per Week
Horse-Back Riding-2 Years-(I Ride once a month because it is expensive and far from home)
(I wrote on the application that my school does not offer EC's or things of that sort.)

Would this be enough altogether to get me into Exeter?

Thanks!

I will be honest with you-- most of the applicants will have more than that. It’s not that you don’t do enough it is that you don’t have one that you have been committed to for a long time. However, that doesn’t mean you don’t have a chance or a big one, either.

^ I think the interview is the most important, then Rec, Essay, Grades,EC, SSAT

Try to emphasize your passion for basketball and your desire to continue it. Prep schools (and colleges) love upward trends. Do you have any awards for you EC’s? Like Most Improved player, or Most Outstanding, or any other contests that you entered. These will make your dedication seem more worthwhile.
Other than that, I’d say that you’re atleast in the running.

Yes I do-The team I was on won the championship for basketball. Scarecrow, I forgot to mention that I am rigorous bike rider, riding hours a week for four Years. Does that make MY chances better as well?

Thanks!
