ECs for getting into PEA, SPS, Andover, etc.

• I sing in a choir that travels to different countries every year touring. We have recorded albums and are decently well known. We sang a week in residence both at Westminster Abbey in London, and Salisbury Cathedral in Salisbury, England. Also multiple cathedrals/basilicas in France, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Australia, and others in England.

•Played piano for 7 years- level 9 out of 10- placed highly in regionals
•Rowed with a well known and respected boat club for 2 years
•Played piano concertos with orchestras
•Attented a prestigious arts camp for a couple weeks
•Co-founder of the debate club at my school
•Play the organ- world famous teacher

I know there are not a lot of extra curriculars, but I feel like they’re pretty strong (?)

Are they good for these schools? Notable?

Other info about me- I’m Latina, applying to 9th grade, from a not very well represented state, full pay, 3 high school classes (math, French, and Spanish), all honours classes

@furelise03 Assuming your grades are decent and your SSATs are satisfactory I think you should be a virtual shoe in anywhere because 1) you are an under-represented minority and 2) your geographical location. Full pay is gravy.

@furelise03
I completely agree with Center, those are excellent EC’s… If all goes well with your other stats… You are probably going to be very happy on M’10…
